Snapchat’s Founder Evan Spiegel Hunts For $20 Million For Brentwood Estate

Reports from Realtor reveal that Evan Spiegel, the entrepreneur behind Snapchat, has recently finalized the sale of the property he inhabits with his spouse, supermodel Miranda Kerr, for nearly $19.95 million. Situated at 655 Macculloh Drive in Los Angeles, California, this prestigious mansion is located in an exclusive residential area in Brentwood, just below the renowned Getty Museum.

The residence, initially designed by the acclaimed architect Gerard Colcord in 1951, is nestled on almost an acre of land and spans over 7,164 square feet. It includes four luxurious bedrooms, each featuring its private ensuite bathroom. Additionally, there are both a guesthouse by the pool and a detached guesthouse with two more guest suites, making a total of seven bathrooms on the estate.

Spiegel’s primary dwelling boasts a majestic two-story foyer adorned with bespoke wood paneling and a grand formal living space. The property also comprises an elegant wood-paneled formal dining area, a sophisticated library, and a cozy family room. Nearly all rooms showcase elaborate built-in cabinets and intricate moldings. Rumor has it that some of the carpentry work was done by Ford, who was a skilled craftsman.

Furthermore, the residence includes a well-appointed eat-in kitchen featuring skylights and luxurious marble countertops, equipped with high-end appliances, including a chic glass-fronted SubZero refrigerator. Additional perks consist of an office space, a wine cellar, four original fireplaces, and various other amenities.

Spiegel’s Brentwood abode is accessed through an extensive, gated driveway leading to a circular motor court. It also includes a two-car garage, charming brick terraces, multiple balconies on the upper levels, and lush lawns surrounded by trees. The couple put their home on the market after Kerr listed her Malibu property for $4.5 million earlier in the year and after relocating to their lavish $120 million estate in the nearby Holmby Hills vicinity. The real estate listing is managed by Drew Fenton of Carolwood Estates.
