    The Remarkable Success Story Of Kosta Browne

    Kosta Browne has made remarkable progress in the last 25 years, transforming from a small winery in Sonoma County into a well-regarded producer of outstanding Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Dan Kosta and Michael Browne, the founders, initially invested just $10 each from their restaurant earnings to create their first batch of Pinot Noir in 1998. Since then, the brand has become famous for its high-quality, terroir-focused wines, expanding into regions like Anderson Valley and Santa Lucia Highlands.

    Guided by winemaker Julien Howsepian, Kosta Browne has continued to push boundaries. They recently achieved a milestone by producing their inaugural vintage from Burgundy, France, and also entered the Oregon market to create their initial Appellation Series wine. Despite this growth, the team remains small, dedicated, and deeply committed to upholding a tradition of creativity and advancement.

    For individuals keen on sampling Kosta Browne wines, the tasting room is situated in Sebastopol, California, at The Barlow, a center for specialty shopping, art exhibitions, and exceptional cuisine and drinks.
